1) How to upload a digital planner to Goodnotes

Step 1: Download GoodNotes

  1. Open the App Store on your iPad or iPhone.

  2. Search for "GoodNotes" and download the app if you haven’t already. It’s a paid app, so be sure to check the price before purchasing.

Step 2: Prepare Your Digital Planner PDF

  1. Locate the PDF file of your digital planner on your computer or device. Ensure it’s saved and ready to be opened in GoodNotes

Step 3: Open GoodNotes

  1. Launch the GoodNotes app on your iPad or iPhone.

Step 4: Import the PDF

  1. Tap on the “+” icon located at the top right corner of the screen.

  2. Select “Import” from the menu that appears.

  3. Choose the location where your PDF is stored (e.g., Files app, Dropbox, Google Drive).

  4. Navigate to the PDF file of your digital planner and tap on it to select it.

Step 5: Open the PDF in GoodNotes

  1. After selecting the PDF, GoodNotes will give you options to either import it into an existing notebook or create a new notebook.

  2. Select “Create New Notebook” if you want to start fresh, or choose an existing notebook if you prefer.

  3. Tap “Import” to finish the process.

Step 6: Start Using Your Digital Planner

  1. Your digital planner will now appear in your GoodNotes library.

  2. Tap on the planner to open it and start planning!

  3. Use the tools in GoodNotes to write, draw, and organize your planner as needed.

2) How to rearrange pages in Goodnotes

Step 1: Open GoodNotes

  1. Launch the GoodNotes app on your iPad or iPhone.

Step 2: Access Your Notebook

  1. Navigate to the library and open the notebook that contains the pages you want to rearrange.

Step 3: Enter the Thumbnail View

  1. Tap on the “Thumbnails” icon in the upper left corner of the screen. This icon looks like a small grid or stack of papers.

  2. You will see a view of all pages in your notebook as thumbnails.

Step 4: Enter the Page Management Mode

  1. Tap on the “Select” button located in the upper right corner of the screen. This allows you to select multiple pages for rearranging.

Step 5: Select Pages

  1. Tap on the pages you want to rearrange. You will see checkmarks appear on the selected pages.

Step 6: Rearrange Pages

  1. Tap and hold on one of the selected pages. A drag-and-drop interface will appear.

  2. Drag the page to the desired location within the thumbnail view. You can move the page to its new position by dragging it left or right.

Step 7: Deselect Pages

  1. Tap on the “Done” button in the upper right corner once you’ve rearranged your pages.

Step 8: Exit Thumbnail View

  1. Tap on the “Thumbnail” icon again or tap outside the thumbnail area to return to your normal notebook view.

3) How to add stickers to Goodnotes

Step 1: Open GoodNotes

  1. Launch the GoodNotes app on your iPad or iPhone.

Step 2: Open Your Notebook

  1. Navigate to your library and open the notebook or digital planner where you want to add stickers.

Step 3: Access the Sticker Files

  1. Import your stickers into GoodNotes if they’re not already there:

    • Tap on the “+” icon located in the upper right corner of the screen.

    • Select “Import” from the menu.

    • Choose the location where your stickers are stored (e.g., Files app, Dropbox, Google Drive).

    • Navigate to the sticker files and tap to import them. Stickers are usually in PNG format.

  2. Create a Sticker Collection (Optional):

    • If you want to organize your stickers, you can create a sticker notebook.

    • Import your stickers into a new notebook as individual pages.

Step 4: Open the Sticker File or Notebook

  1. Go to the page where you want to place the sticker.

  2. Navigate to your sticker collection by going to the thumbnail view if you have a sticker notebook.

Step 5: Use the Lasso Tool to Select Stickers

  1. Tap on the “Lasso Tool” in the toolbar. This tool is often represented by a lasso icon.

  2. Draw around the sticker you want to use to select it. Make sure the selection is precise.

Step 6: Copy the Sticker

  1. Tap on the “Copy” option in the context menu that appears after selecting the sticker.

Step 7: Paste the Sticker

  1. Go back to your digital planner page where you want to place the sticker.

  2. Tap and hold on the page until the “Paste” option appears.

  3. Tap “Paste” to place the sticker onto your page.

Step 8: Resize and Position the Sticker

  1. Tap on the sticker to select it. You will see resizing handles around the sticker.

  2. Drag the handles to resize the sticker to your desired size.

  3. Move the sticker by dragging it to the desired position on the page.

Step 9: Finalize the Placement

  1. Tap outside the sticker or use the “Done” button if available to finalize its placement.

4) How to upload a digital planner PDF on Notability

Step 1: Download Notability

  1. Open the App Store on your iPad or iPhone.

  2. Search for "Notability" and download the app if you haven’t already. It’s a paid app, so be sure to check the price before purchasing.

Step 2: Prepare Your Digital Planner PDF

  1. Locate the PDF file of your digital planner on your computer or device. Ensure it’s saved and ready for upload.

Step 3: Open Notability

  1. Launch the Notability app on your iPad or iPhone.

Step 4: Import the PDF

  1. Tap on the “Import” icon (usually represented by a box with an arrow pointing down) in the top right corner of the Notability interface.

  2. Select “Import” from another app if your PDF is stored in a cloud service like Dropbox or Google Drive, or from the Files app if it’s saved on your device.

  3. Navigate to the location where your PDF file is stored.

  4. Tap on the PDF file to select it.

Step 5: Choose the Destination

  1. After selecting the PDF, Notability will prompt you to choose where to import the file.

  2. Choose “Create a New Note” to start a fresh note with the PDF, or select an existing note if you want to add the PDF to it.

Step 6: Start Using Your Digital Planner

  1. Your digital planner will now appear as a new note in Notability.

  2. Tap on the note to open it and start planning!

  3. Use Notability’s tools to annotate, highlight, and customize your planner according to your needs.

5) How to rearrange pages in Notability

Step 1: Open Notability

  1. Launch the Notability app on your iPad or iPhone.

Step 2: Open Your Note

  1. Navigate to your library and open the note containing the pages you want to rearrange.

Step 3: Access the Page Thumbnails

  1. Tap on the “Thumbnails” icon in the top right corner of the screen. This will open a sidebar showing small previews of all the pages in your note.

Step 4: Enter Edit Mode

  1. Tap on the “Edit” button in the top right corner of the thumbnail sidebar. This allows you to select and manage multiple pages at once.

Step 5: Select the Pages

  1. Tap on the thumbnails of the pages you want to rearrange. You will see a checkmark appear on each selected page.

Step 6: Rearrange the Pages

  1. Tap and hold on a selected page until it lifts slightly from the screen.

  2. Drag the page to the desired position in the thumbnail sidebar.

  3. Repeat the process for any other pages you want to move around.

Step 7: Exit Edit Mode

  1. Tap the “Done” button in the top right corner of the thumbnail sidebar to finalize your changes.

Step 8: Review Your Changes

  1. Scroll through your note to ensure the pages are in the correct order.

6) How to add stickers in Notability

Step 1: Prepare Your Stickers

  1. Ensure your stickers are in PNG format (with a transparent background) and saved to your device. You can download stickers from your cloud storage, email, or save them directly from the web.

Step 2: Open Notability

  1. Launch the Notability app on your iPad or iPhone.

Step 3: Open Your Note

  1. Navigate to your library and open the note or digital planner where you want to add stickers.

Step 4: Import the Sticker

  1. Tap on the “+” icon in the top right corner of the screen. This icon allows you to add new content to your note.

  2. Select “Image” from the drop-down menu.

  3. Choose the source of your sticker (e.g., Photos, Files, or another location where your stickers are stored).

  4. Tap on the sticker file to import it into your note.

Step 5: Position the Sticker

  1. The sticker will appear on your note. Tap and drag it to the desired location on the page.

  2. Resize the sticker by dragging the corners of the image. You can make it larger or smaller depending on your preference.

Step 6: Add More Stickers

  1. Repeat the process by tapping the “+” icon and importing additional stickers as needed.

Step 7: Organize Your Stickers

  1. If you want to keep your stickers organized, consider creating a separate “Stickers” note within Notability where you can store all your favorite stickers for easy access.

Step 8: Use the Lasso Tool for Further Editing

  1. Tap on the “Lasso Tool” from the toolbar if you need to move, resize, or delete the sticker after it has been placed.

  2. Draw around the sticker to select it, then drag it to reposition or use the on-screen options to make further adjustments.
